David Walsh has been chief sportswriter with the Sunday Times since 2001. He is a four-time Irish Sportswriter of the Year and a four-time UK Sportswriter of the Year. In 2012 he was named UK Journalist of the Year for his campaign to uncover the truth in the Lance Armstrong story. He is co-author of L.A. Confidential: The Secrets of Lance Armstrong (2004) and author of From Lance to Landis: Inside the American Doping Controversy at the Tour de France (2007).
