Shaun Dooley was born in 1974 in Barnsley, UK and has risen to prominence as an actor on many of Britain's leading television programmes.
Dooley attended the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester between 1992 and 1995, before going on to land his debut role as Shaun in Groove on a Stanley Knife in 1997. He then went on to have roles in both Coronation Street (1997) and Eastenders (2001-04), along with BBC drama The Street (2006).
Since 2011, Dooley has appeared on a variety of popular British television shows including a role as Pete Garvey on popular ITV comedy Benidorm. 2011 also saw Dooley appear in the BBC dramas Exile and Great Expectation. Following this Dooley went on to play Greg, a probation worker with anger issues, in the hugely popular Misfits.
In 2014, Dooley appeared in television series Wolfblood and The Game. Early 2015 has already seen him appear in the popular Broadchurch series as Ricky Gillepsie.Visit Shaun's IMDb page
