British composer Edward Farmer has written music for over 50 short films, TV documentaries and theatre productions, with broadcasts in the UK and Europe. His music has been heard at film festivals across the world, and his music is first choice for several emerging British film makers.
As artistic director of London Arts Orchestra, he brings a wealth of orchestral experience to the projects he scores, working with some of London's finest musicians. Farmer has been nominated for the European Film Music Award at the Soundtrack Cologne Festival, and received two postgraduate awards whilst studying at the Royal College of Music. He worked for a year at the Royal Opera House on the young composers’ scheme, and is a long term collaborator of People at Play arts collective.
