In June 2013, star and producer Felicity Jones spoke to the Daily Mail to discuss her busy schedule fitting in producing Emily along with preparing for her now Oscar-nominated role in the Stephen Hawking biopic, The Theory Of Everything:
Felicity has a busy few months ahead of her. Emily, a short film she co-produced and worked on with director Caroline Harvey, will be heading to festivals. It’s what Felicity calls a ‘spiky’ tale.
She plays a young woman who meets a man (Christopher Eccleston) in a coffee bar and soon they’re chatting about smoked salmon blinis, sexual stirrings involving fingers in ears and satisfying urges.
